The pain.. is unbearable.

( ATTENTION: These sequence of posts fall under a pre-written story. This is an open-PvP area, therefore I'll refrain from locking participation, however if you must\want to tag along, PLEASE, let me know before hand so that I can scrap the all story I wrote and start role-playing as we go. - Thank you.)

Going down a street, past a common grocery, there is a dark, dark alley. One that you'd dread to walk in. One of those where bad stuff happen, and no one knows about it when asked about.

Walking down the street, ignoring the simple living person leaving it's home heading for work.. ignoring the simple house cat returning home after one night of absence doing whatever cats these days do when bored.. ignoring all the street movement, cars, people, life itself.. there was something.. standing still on an alley, all by himself, all quiet.

This fellow, wearing a black cap really stuffed into his head, kept looking around towards the ending of the dark, shady alley. No one would look back at him, almost as if they couldn't see him. He felt ignored and left out.

All of a sudden a noise. A dark-colored cat approached and was chasing something. Some mice perhaps, it's what they do after all..
Nature's own rules. Survival of the fittest.

The boy kept on watching as the cat tripped on several junk, making them fall on the ground
with quite a noise. He laughed at the mess caused by the beast. This mess and the sight of the cat trying to survive - and who knows,
perhaps just the sensation of see stuff falling down, making noise and how frustrated the cat seemed to be - was enjoying him. He
hadn't been entretained for so long, he had almost forgotten how fun it was so see chaos and disorder.

(However the cat finally caught the mouse.. feasting on it and suddenly the mess was over. The boy didn't find that bit the least interesting..)

Several days had past and the boy was still alone on the alley. Some people would past by, some would even go through it, but wouldn't notice the boy.
He started to be afraid, something wasn't right.

All alone, bored of his mind, he was staring at the trash laying down on the alley, and he started to stare at it. A feeling started to build inside of him, some sort of anger.. some boredom in the middle too, perhaps.. It was all too quiet, he didn't like this, not even one bit at all.

There was also an odd pain that was starting to become an annoyance. That didn't help at all, he was bored out of his mind, everything was in silence around him, he was in pain, this pain on his chest was a real pest - nothing good comes from it, and most importantly, he was surely pissed of at the all situation that had been brought on him.

He focused and closed his eyes for a bit.. and then all of a sudden, he closed his right hand and formed a fist, and with all his power - and anger -, he slammed it into the ground, near the location where a can was standing still, and BAM, he smashed the can, and some of the trash that was around, exploding some sort energy around the area where hit. It was a rather small radius.. didn't make much ruckus.. was mildy enjoyable nonetheless.. as the boy smiled a bit.

As the days go on the chain attached to the boy's chest starts to corrode, making quite a severe pain. For some reason the boy didn't bother much with it during the first times that the pain would occour, however these were getting worst, and everytime that these would reach a pain-peak, the boy would send his hand towards his chest, grasping it slighty, trying to bear the pain a little further. His situation couldn't last forever, at least it'd better not, it was starting to be unbearable.

Couple minutes later, having this one been quite a serious wave of pain, the boy sat down against the wall.. keeping his eyes at the entrance of the alley, waiting.. For what? He didn't know for sure. He just knew that he had to stay there. Waiting until that something'd happen. So he sat, and kept peering at the entrance.

The days kept passing. And the boy would remain the same.. only the pain.. oh the pain, this one would keep on growing.. every day ever stronger and he was starting to realize that this would be his downfall, he wouldn't be able to hold it much longer. It was like part of him.. a big part as it is (probably even bigger than a limb!)..and he couldn't do anything about it. All of a sudden another of these and he just let a burst out and, out of his control, punched the wall in front of him, as for his surprise there was a purpleish glow surrounding his fist as it was planted on the wall, and it didn't hurt as much, because common.. punching a wall? It hurts like hell!

One day, out of nowhere, and to the boy's surprise, a serious noise could be heard - he was actually fritghtened, however part of him wanted to see what could possible be doing such a mess outside that alley that he had learned by now to call 'his own'. He slowly approached the end of the alley and quietly took a peek outside. There was an huge monster wrecking everything on his sight. Kuimera quickly took a couple steps back, trying to reach a rather safe position, that thing clearly didn't seem peaceful at all, better play safe than sorry.

As he rushed back, he dashed into a garbage bin and made the top fall, making quite a noise, possibly attracting unwanted attentions. He didn't even bother on taking a look
wheter it did or not, he simply rushed behind a larger pack of trash and stood hiding. He knew he couldn't ever making it out alive if that thing would spot it.

Suddenly, he started to hear a breathing noise. Coming from just around the corner. He was never the religious kind, but damn, as he was fearful for his own protection. He didn't really want to, but the curiosity was bigger than him, and hell, he had to at least see up close what was doing such a mess. He was scared.. but also he stood in awe, admiring such destruction. Mindless and raw.

As he peered over the garbage, he spotted the beast, even tho' it was a partial glimple, as the beast was just passing by and he didn't got to see much, he quickly withdrawn and rushed into a safe hiding again. It was an huge thing. Bigger than anything he had ever seen. And then again, such a creep it was, a beast like he had never seen either. So he wasn't really the best one to give it a call.

And then, the pain... it was so unbearable at this point. His eyes closed, his teeth forcing against eachother, his body squirming in agony. That chain wouldn't last much longer. But he just couldn't leave the alley. It was almost as if something was holding him there. What could it possibly ever be? For months he tried to think what it could possibly be.

As the major pain spike vanished, he opened his eyes wide open, with all that pain he had totally forgotten about the beast roaming around. It was quieter outside, so that didn't help on keeping his guard up. He looked towards his left, and he could only see an huge row of shops, but no signs of the thing itself.

No beast could be found near the alley entrance. Kuimera decided to go towards it again, the curiousity was just overwhelming.
As he managed to take a look outside, he started to slightly shake.. it was mostly due to the pain on his chest.. but then again, there was the beast, several meters away.. and it was eating something, really enjoying the disgusting feast. Kuimera never got a clear look to what it was.

Suddenly, a zap! And something struck down the hollow. It was an humanish figure holding a sword. It cut deep into the beast's back, but the thing was immense and simply moved away, forcing the person to dropping the attack. Kuimera didn't got to see much as his eyes kept on closing themselves as several pain spikes occured.

The two of them continued to fight. He could hardly follow the human's movement as it was way too fast for his eyes, and this one was blurred enough as it was. The beast was slower, yet stronger physically, and it sure could put up a fight. Suddenly the human in robes struck the thing, hitting his arm, clearly cutting deep. The beast ran and the human followed.

Kuimera continued to follow them with his eye sight as far as his eyes allowed, it wasn't for long, but it was for as much as he could. He wanted to chase them and see what was that beast who caused such a marvelous, scary mess.. and who was that person that could put up a fight with such a aberration of nature.

However he drew back to 'his' alley, the pain was stronger than ever. He just knew he couldn't stand it for much longer.
"This is it..", Kuimera said, in a low tone and with a simple smile, as his chest ache stronger than ever.

He reached his chest one last time, as he closed his eyes in agony. This is it. There is nothing left for him. What will become of me, he thought as he smilled faintly, even through dying pain.

He slowly woke up. He was still on the same bloody alley. Honestly? He was fed up with that place - he, however, couldn't leave it. Something was binding him towards that place.

"Woa.. nailed it a little longer..", Kuimera said, still a little confused by the all situation, totally forgotten about what had happened before hand, merely surprised, and perhaps a bit frustrated.

He slowly sat down and peered down towards his chest, the chain was still around. It was smaller and somewhat weak in appearance than usual, but it was still around..

After a couple minutes, realizing what had last happened before he lost his senses, he started to think seriously about that fighting scene he saw.. that beastial thing with it's raw, imense power - it was something that he admired.. such power could wreck allot of stuff! And that idea was interesting.

The humanish person was somewhat interesting aswell, because common.. being able to stand hold against that beast - that person could seriously cause some ruckus! And it's speed was amazing..

He also realized that the pain was starting to soften.. or maybe it was not the case.. maybe it was actually getting worst, however the feeling wasn't that bad at all.. as the pain would come and go, Kuimera could feel some sort of inner rage building up, and it felt good.

It would still hurt as hell, obviously. Still it was softened, he was somewhat enjoying this. He always had a taste for mindless destruction anyways, and this was probably what he needed.

He spotted a loose piece of trash and decided that he simply had to make a mess out of it! Too bad it was some meters ahead.. and so he went towards it.. and out of the blue, he was standing near it!

It was impossible, he hadn't moved more than two or three steppes, how could this be? Could this be similar to those "odd" events on the past? And if so, how could he possibly master these arts?

He then tried to focus the very same energy, plus most of these new feelings that were deep within inside of him but now suddenly popped up, and tried to merge that energy around his fist.

Suddenly a purple glow started to appear and formed itself, almost like a flame, around it. The boy smirked, he thought he nailed it. But just as he got himself ready to hit the ground beneath him, the flame vanished. Kuimera let out a quiet sigh. His frown face had clear signs of a deep disappointment, perhaps even towards himself, as he failed to hold the power.

"Guess I ain' quite ready for this yet..", he said in a low tone, as he returned to focusing.

"Right.. this time I better not fail!", Kuimera said, in an higher tone. He said it pretty out loud for possible encouragement intentions? Or perhaps it was because of his own condition, pain leads to pain, which leads to random outbursts.. creepy stuff.

He raised his fist high above and started to gather all his strength together on that single, tiny spot. It started to materialize, a purple glow, even if a tiny bit, it could noticeable.

He grinned for a while, just before smashing it into the ground, with most of his power. As he hit the ground, the purple energy had an outburst and an area, probably of a couple inches around his fist, expanded itself, covering a larger area.

Kuimera then tried to use that speed ability again. He placed himself in position, let out a soft chuckle, and simply ran forward. Something was wrong.. or shall it say, way too normal. He was running at his regular speed - which was rather slow as it was.

Could these abilities have a limit on usage? Can't I use them whenever I want to?, he thought to himself, whilst carefully rubbing his chin, thinking hard as he'd ponder some new tricks on how to manage this.

He sat down for some good, several minutes, attempting to recuperate some energies. That punch itself didn't hurt that much, however the pain inside of him was allot stronger now. As if he was weakened.

The pain started to get worst. Even whilst sitting down he could feel his life nearly escaping away. Luckily this state didn't last for long.

After a couple minutes of terrible agony, which pretty much seemed like an horrible, painful eternity, Kuimera managed to regained his breath. This was getting worst. And it seemingly gets worst as he uses these powers.

However if he wants to grow strong to surpass this state of his.. he then decides to bear the pain and try to prevail for as long as he could. Trying his hardest.

Standing up, slowly, he carefully focused his energy and metalized himself that he'd make it this time. He closed his eyes for a brief moment and went for it. Suddenly, he was couple meters ahead of his location. He had done it.

"I have to master these stuff.. I can't remain on this situation much longer, dunno how much I can hold.. I gotta force my way out, and fast!", Kuimera said, grinding his teeth lightly, moralized with the entire situation ahead of him.

He then used Sonido back to his location, however this time was a shorter distance than the previous cast, it clearly had some sort of mechanism behind it, it was clearly preventing him from casting it repeatedly.

As he arrived to his location, he quickly prepared a punch, aiming towards a trash bin that was standing right in front of him. His fist started to glow with the purple tone just before hitting, deforming the bin as it hit. Kuimera let a tiny smirk out, just before being forced on his knees - damn, this was tiresome.

After resting for a couple minutes, Kuimera stood up and peered around. Suddenly a women comes in running into the alley, closely followed by a man. They were clearly not together, in fact, the women was most likely running from him.

Kuimera didn't really understand their words, his senses were way too blurred due to his condition. The damned chain was causing this, how? He did not know, he sure didn't want to find out, he just wanted to manage to escape this situation the faster that he could.

The man cornered the woman on the end of the alley, they clearly couldn't see the boy, that didn't stop him tho'.
He rushed with a Sonido to their location and gave a soft punch on the wall. As the punch hit, a blast of energy was released around the area where it hit.

It was a close call, just as the man reached for a knife. The guy scared himself with the ruckus and made a go for. Kuimera laughed quietly to himself - even if in vain, no one could hear him -, however he had to hold himself towards the wall, he sure got tired with this.

The girl looked around, clueless with what had just happened. She clearly saw the little damage on the wall, and all the noise that came with it. However by the way she shrugged Kuimera simply assumed that she thought that it was the Wall's condition all along.

Kuimera used sonido one last time and sat down on his usual spot, peering at the girl as this one would make his leave from the alley. She was clearly frightened and paranoid.. but hell, who could blame her after a robbing attempt and then being rescued by.. nothing.

He somewhat felt lighter now, after the all deal within the alley. He couldn't really place his finger why this was happening, but his soul was somewhat free now. He felt as if he could leave the alley once in for all.

He used sonido to the end of the alley and took a peek outside. Quite an amount of people doing their boring, annoying daily routines. He so hated them. Made life boring, organized -yes, but so boring. Part of him felt happy for his state.. however a pain spike quickly reminded him that this wasn't all a fairy tale.

He sonido'ed to a nearby shop, at the left of the alley exit. It was so bright outside, he was pretty much used to the darkness that he had lived for several months. He then peeked inside the window. It was a book shop. Damn he wanted to wreck the place down.. however there were plenty of people inside. Better not to, after all.

He then started to roam mindlessly through the shopping district. It was quite enjoyable to walk around and not being noticed - at all. Kuimera had never been a people's person, so the feeling of being on a separated plane...felt good to his eyes. Yes it was lonely.. but it felt nice.

"So.. where to go next..", he let out, peering to both sides of the street, visually browsing the shops.

Kuimera uses sonido to reach a small bench, in which he sat down on. This was tiresome.. he had used this skill way too many times. Plus the pain on his chest was starting to really affect his judgement. His vision mostly.. he started to see some colors fade into several shades of grey, then returning.. then going back again.

After a small break, and nearly dozing down for a seconds due to the constant boredom, Kuimera stood up, with his energies regained, and continued walking down the streets, constantly mocking the average common person due to their boring routines.

He reached a small park, a cozy one, with a simple bench, a tiny trash bin, a single tree.. and most importantly, not a single living soul around! All the place was for him. And what a better place to train?

He grabbed some cans that were laying around on the bin and placed them over the bench.

Right after, he focused his energy on his fists, making them glow a purple'ish glow. However this one clearly pulled way too much energy as it faded with time.

He then peered at the first can and casted a Sonido to about 2 meters away from it. Suddenly he punched in vain, simply aiming the punch in the can's direction. Then a burst of energy, a tiny one, and at quite a moderate speed, was thrown in the can's direction. Even without hitting the can, Kuimera was quite surprised with this new power.

He was quite surprised with himself. He had pretty much gone from that little boy sulking on a dark corner to a rough ... somewhat rough guy! He stood up in a quite proud pose, almost way too full of himself. But oh well, enough of the showing off. Less of it and more shooting.

He aligned himself towards the second can and focused on it for a brief while. It was a bit far and his vision wasn't at the best of it's condition, there was quite a room for failing .. and quite a will to succeed, these two don't merge well together.

Kuimera then threw a blank punch towards it, shooting the same energy as before, and what a surprise, he missed the target completely.. but oh well, it managed to hit the previous can!

Out of the joy, the didn't control himself and took quite a jump and punching the ground as he did so. However such an enjoyable burst made that punch have an outburst of energy, exploding outwards around the area where he hit..

Poor guy didn't handle it and fell on his knees, dropping unconscious on the very same park.

It was already under the hallowed moon of the freezing night when Kuimera came back to his senses. Nothing could be heard around the, once beautiful, colored park, now dark and shady looking. He even had troubles when first slowly opened his eyes, as he took a while to figure out where he was.

Slowly sat down and peered up towards the sky. It was a bright night, no clouds could be seen from his location. The moon was brightest than usual. He simply stood there for a while, actually enjoying how quiet the surroundings were.

Kuimera stood up and used sonido to reach the bench faster. Why have powers if not to use them - he thought.

He sat down on it.. the pain had gotten worst. ~I suppose training isn't helping either.., he thought with a sad expression on his face.

He peered down towards the chain stuck on his chest, and with a simple, sad frown he let out a long sigh. The chain had gotten much thiner than the last time he bothered to look at it.. this had to be a bad sign.

He slowly stood up, picking up one of the cans that were standing on the same bench that he was sat on, and placed it on the ground in front of him. Focusing energy on his right fist, a purple flame engulfed it, he pulled it way back, charging quite a powerful shot.

Suddenly, he gave a slight jump in the air, and mid air got his fist ready to punch the can from above, hitting it as he landed. The punch crushed the can. And a burst of energy that exploding outwards the location where the can was could also been seen.

With a smug smirk he turned around and ran past his nose with his hand. Nailed it!, he thought to himself, quite confident of his current powers. With these mastered he could wreck and cause all the ruckus he'd want.

He then turned himself towards the cans standing over the bench and aligned himself in position to face them. He pulled his arm back and punched the air in one of the can's direction. An energy ball was shot towards it, hitting it.

Suddenly, without even pausing nor focusing - not even trying to aim straight - he got another punch ready, this time pulling way back like he was even attempting a stronger punch against something. As he threw the punch the energy ball was quite bigger than the previous ones - yes, it was however rather smallish.. but still an improvement! - however it pass by the can, not hitting it.
