    I woke up earlier and got myself ready. I received a notification warning me that I should be at the academy today for the graduation exams. So I start walking towards my destiny thinking about what would I do if my dad appears there.

    "He would never let me do the exams... So I need a back up plan and fast!"

    As I reached my destiny I noticed my dad and the guards looking at the students. They were probably looking for me so I decided to enter the academy by the back door.

    "That one was close..."

    I entered my classroom to find out that the 1st exam was a writing test with 200 questions. I sat on my usual spot and looked around. Everyone looked nervous and I seemed to be the only one that was calm. I read the exam before writing my answers down. All technical questions about Shunpo, Kido, Fighting skills...

    "Piece of cake I guess...

    The exam lasted two hours. I finished it just in time and I waited for the results. I got 199/200. Something I was expecting since I spent most of my time study on my room.

    My sensei Takami congratulated me and told me to get ready to the second exam. I nodded and walked to the training grounds, finding the other students already there pretty excited.
    The first one to go was Ashito, the best student in class. He made an awesome demonstration of Kido and everyone clapped. Well... Everyone but Takami. He was the prettiest boy around but the dumbest one also. When the sensei called out his name, the ran to the dummies with her zan but he tripped and felt before reaching them. Everyone was laughing and he got really pissed. He cut the dummies faster and angrily till the sensei told him to stop. He walked out without saying a word, followed by his little sister Kamya.
    The sensei sighed and looked at the paper to check who was next. She looked at me and smiled.

    - Kuchiki Mizashi, you're the next one. Good luck.

    I smiled back and I walked towards the dummies, all eyes on me. I took a fighting stand and tried to remember the moves I saw Sco and Ajiro using when they spared. Then I focus on beating down the dummies in a fast and clean way. I shunpo to the first dummy delivering him a knee on his stomach. As he bended down from the impact, I deliver him a elbow in the head, making his head fall out. I shunpo the second one and jump, grabbing my zan quickly in order to cut the dummy from above. It got divided in half and as I landed, I pointed my index finger of my free hand to the 3rd dummy, firing an Hado #4 Byakurai towards him. It made a small explosion but the dummy was totally destroyed. Everyone was clapping and impressed. I saved my zan and cleaned the sweat from my forehead.

    "I made it!"

    The sensei congratulated everyone and told us the next exam would be spars and that our families would be watching. I got nervous and wondered if my dad was there... An eldest sensei called me and said he wanted to discuss something with me. I nodded and followed him to the corner of the training grounds. He looked at me with a serious look and I knew I was in trouble.

    - Miss Kuchiki, your father talked to me... He told me you ran away from home. And he also told me about your health condition... So I want you to give up on the exams and return home were you belong.

    "What the... He can't be serious! Never!

    - I apologize, but I can't do that. I'm here on my own and free will and I have my pride as a shinigami. So I won't give up. You can tell my father I won't return and I will do whatever it takes to show him what I'm made off. Have a good day.

    I ran away towards the dojo where everyone was getting ready to the spars. As I walked in, I noticed my dad among the other student's family. I looked mad and worried at the same time. I turned my face away and walked to the sensei. She asked me if I was sure I wanted to fight and as I nodded, she told me I would spar Lylia, the older student. She was Tamaki's lover so I was sure she would kick my butt without any hesitation to show off. I looked at her and she gave me an evil grin.

    - Great, I will have the pleasure to kick the little princess Kuchiki's butt. This will be soooo fun. Ahahahahahah!

    "I'm soooo dead..."

    I knew I could quit in that momenta and hide like a scared cat behind my dad. But no, I would not. I looked at Lylia and then to my dad. He was talking to the eldest sensei, probably begging him to made me quit. I turned my back to both of them and I sat down to watch the first fight. Tamaki vs Ashito. It was the fastest spar I ever saw... Tamaki spend all battle cutting the walls as Ashito shunpo and avoided his attacks. Then out of nowhere, Ashito gave him the last and final blow. Tamaki felt on the floor unconscious and Ashito was the winner. Lylia was full of anger and I knew I would be the victim...

    - Lylia and Mizashi, you're the next ones.

    I walked towards the middle of the arena, all eyes on me. I got in the fighting stand and so did Lylia. I needed to get my focus on beating her and nothing more... The bell rang and she shunpo towards me so fast that I didn't even had time to blink... She tried to deliver me a punch in the face but I was able to avoid it. I forgot her free hand and I was hit hard on the stomach as my body was sent hard against the wall.
    Everyone was surprised and scared. My dad got up and yelled to my sensei to stop the battle since I wasn't moving at all. Lylia grinned and returned to her normal stand.

    - Already done Kuchiki? Ahahahah! You sure are weak.

    - No... I'm not done yet...

    Everyone was looking surprised now. My dad didn't believed in what he was seeing: I moved away from the wall and I looked at Lylia. My back and head hurt too much but I would not allow myself to lose. I could felt my own blood running down from my forehead as I shunpo faster next to Lylia, delivering her a knee in her stomach, followed by an elbow in her face. She was sent to the right, hitting hard on the floor. She was preparing herself to get up but I didn't gave her any time: I used Bakudo #1 Sai on her, making her unable to move. Lylia open her eyes wide when she noticed I was about to fire a Hado #4 Byakurai towards her.


    - No! Kuchiki, stop please! I give up!

    The sensei finished the spar and declared me as the winner. Everyone was surprised I actually won. Lylia was released from the Bakudo and was looking at me. I gave my dad a final look before collapsing on the floor exhausted.

    I woke up two hours later in the medical room of the academy. I could hear my dad talking to my sensei, still impressed that I managed to pass on the exam; but still really upset about me running away from home. I tried to get up. Every little piece of my body hurt but I could not stay there or my dad would make me return home. I got up and opened up the window, getting away from the academy as fast as I could.
