The Secret Training Forest

I enter the forest, the smell if the river not rar off sooths me as i look at the various sized and shaped training dummys. "Time for me to get to work." I say as i place my hand on the hilt of my zan.

"Bakudo #4 Hanawai!" ropes of energy reach out and wrap one of the dummies.
"Hado #4 Byakurai"energy fires from my finger but fizzles out as it nears the target and the bakkudo falters aswell.

"Damn..i figured that would happen kido..so useless."I yawn and take out a mod pill I snuck from squad 12 barracks before coming here. "now lets see what this can do i need a good sparing partner, besides," Places the pill inside a dummy. "i need a test subject."

The Dummy comes to life and i take out a small knife from my pocket.
"now lets see."
I cut a mouth slot and place a sword in its hand.
"Ok Mod soul,"
Takes out a chart from my bag.

"According to this chart you are.."
Moves to the left dragging my bag with me.
"Agressive, Obviously"
the dummy raises the blade slowly and groans.

The strap of the bag falls and i glance at it and then the sheet. "Abilities, Enhanced speed." The dummy attacks again and i rotate my body in anticipation and strike the wrist with my foot and follow through the motion and look at the sheet.

"tsk tsk, slow refle.." Is cut off by the punch heading for me and as it gets near it barely misses me and he hits the ground and it shakes and bursts as it forms a crater."Shiz, you may be slow in reflexes but your strong arent you big fella"

backflips into a standing position and places my hand on my blade and i draw it holding it reverse of standard blade holding style.
"Ok lets get serious." i jump and swing at the him rotating my body to add more force.

he raises his blade slowly an blocks as the blades touch i smile. "Perfect you fell for it" i push harder to make sure he doesnt move "Hado #11 Tsuzuri Raiden" *the blade sparks and electricity forms transfering to his blade and shocking him.

He stumbles back groaning and growls as he points a hand at me and a red energy forms. "shakaho?" I think out loud and jump to the side as he fires and it misses.

I sheath my blade and run at him. "lets test your hand to hand skills." I kick the blade from his hand and jump immediately into an ax kick.

He blocks at impressive speed and throws a punch at me. "shi.." His punch grazes my side sending me spiraling back and i twist my body to land on my feet.

The hit winds me slightly and i rush him again throwing a punch at his face.
He ducks and punches at my gut but i move slightly and use the lift to get hight. " lets try this one again."

I focus my spiritual energy. "Hado #4 Byakurai." The energy builds in my hand and fires at him and he dosent move as it fizzes out just as it nears his face.

"Damn kido." I grumble to myself and he vanishes. "what the?!" he appears behind me and throws a kick towards my back.

"shit." I rotate my body and block the kick and spin kicking back.
"your not bad for a dummy."

He blocks and i keep up the attack this time shunpoing to various angles to kit him and landing below him s he falls. "Die." I draw my zan and he falls on it impaled and i toss him off.

I stretch and sheath my blade."Well that was fun." I look at my bag and pick it up. "I suppose that's enough for one day" I look at the sky and smile. "Time to leave this place..if only..for a little while but first i need to ..gather.. somethings"

As the sun rises i look down at the dummies lined up like terracotta worriers. "Hope she can find this place..." I look at my hand and aim towards a dummy.

"maybe a little burst of rei will help her." I focus my rei. "Hado #4 Byakurai."

* a burst of energy fires from my finger tips and nears the dummy. As it gets cloce it singes the dummy but dissipates. "I really hate kido"

I woke up next morning in pain. My body hurt because I slept on the ground and I didn't felt like moving much. Still, I needed to get up and get moving before I got caught. I peeked out of the bush and since no one was around, I grabbed my bag and walked to the river. I used the water as a mirror so I could see the way I looked.
Wow... I look awful. Better wash my face.

I washed my face slowly and cleaned the blood from my left arm. I took the ligaments and I noticed the wound was still pretty bad. I took a small tissue from my bag and used it to clean the cut with a bit of water. I could see the tissue turning red from my blood and I just dropped him on the floor. To stop the bleeding, I got some new ligaments and placed them above the cut. Then I got up and started to walked away.
I wonder... Will things work out right from now on or was this all a mistake? Either way, I can't turn back no more. I decided I wanted to walk on my own path and that's what I'm going to do.

My thoughts were interrupted when I felt someone's reiatsu. I could told it belonged to the man I met yesterday. I decided to look for him but the forest was huge... Then I noticed someone was using Kido to get someone's attention.
Yeah, it's definitely him.

I started to ran fast towards him till I found him in some sort of training ground in the middle of the woods.

I look at the girl approaching and recognize her i shunpo from my tree and land before her. "Hey Miza, Welcome to The Secret Training field." I look her over and notice the scratches and the cut on her arm and i frown.

"Your arms are cut..."My eyes analyze her and i notice a slight degrading in her health status. "Did you bring your medication?"

I set my pack down after grabbing it from the tree. "Hmm... come here, first i need to look at your cut." I reach in my pack for some medical supplies i 'borrowed'.

I was right, it was Ajiro. I looked at him and then looked away.

- Well I... Hm... I kinda left home in a rush so... I f-forgot them...

I knew if I told him I ran from home he would probably get mad and would made me return there. But I didn't wanted it. I wanted to be free so I could make my own path. So hiding that fact wouldn't hurt anyone.
He wanted to check on my arm. It hurt pretty bad but I didn't wanted to give my soft side. So I just made a serious face.

- Hm, my arm is fine. Don't worry.

I covered the ligaments that were already red from my blood with my hand trying to avoid him to check it.

I look at her with knowing eys and stand. "Judging by your cuts i assume you ran from home..to begin why lie?" I look at her sternly but caring.

I look back at her arm and notice the blood. "Your wound is still bleeding and judging by the mark just above it i assume this isnt the first wrap youv applied." I look at her eyes and see the fatigue.

"You didnt sleep well either."I place a hand on her cheek then forhead. " and judjing by tour temperature not at home." I look at her clothes and see traces of dust. "On the ground maybe?"

I sighed. He had a pretty good eye so if I lied, it would not be fair.
I'll just tell him the thrust. It would be really stupid to lie.
I took then a deep breath and looked at him.

- Yes I ran from home... And I tried to clean the wound when I woke up. I also slept on the ground near the river so that's why I have dust on my clothes.

I looked down and prepared myself to get yelled at. It was something that happened frequently since I was a child so it was fine. I removed my hand from the ligaments and looked at her. It was already with a bit of blood.

I take your hand and look at the wound. "I see, that explains it." * i clean the wound and apply a pressure bandage.

I smile and reach in my bag "Do u have replace ment cloths?" i look and find a White kimono. This should do for her.

"I will go and get your medication in the bag is a kimono"I stand and stretch and walk towards the house she came from. After an hour i return with her medicine. "I believe this is it?"

I was surprised he didn't yelled at me like everyone else. I looked at him closely as he took care of my wound trying to figure what was he thinking. He then said I should change and told me to dress a kimono he had on the bag.

- Yes the kimono will do. Thank you.

I bowed and waited for him to leave before grabbing the kimono and hide somewhere so I could dress in peace. I finally found the right place: A huge tree, already dead, had nothing on the inside. It looked like a cave and it was warm. I walked inside and changed myself, putting away my old and useless clothes. The kimono was a bit too long but it looked okay on me. I peeked outside and got out of the tree. I returned to the place I was and I noticed Ajiro was already back with my medicine.

- Yes, that's my medicine. But how did you get it?

I smile slyly. "It wasnt very hard your maides each had a bunch, dont worryi didnt harm any of them" I open a bag with several bottles.

"This should be enough..but just in case i may need to find a friend in the fouth division to make sure your ok" I smile and set the bag next to mine. "You look nice btw seems i misjudged slightly on the height my apologies."

I stretch and smile "Well lets see what you can do shall we." I check my chart and select a mod soul pill that has good speed and strength but isnt too powering.

- Oh I'm glad you didn't hurt anyone to get the medicine. And yes they have a lot of them around the house. My dad used to buy boxes and boxes of it. I remembered I had 6 or 7 of those on my room.

I sat down and took a bottle of the medicine. Quickly I got it open and drank it fast. It tasted really really bad so I made a "yuck" face. I looked at him again and got up.

- There's no need to get a squad's 4 member to check on me. I'll be fine. And don't worry about the kimono, I like long dresses since then make me look a little taller.

I gave him a small smile and then I stared as he grabbed something.
"Hm... I wonder what that is..."

I place the pill in a dummy and look. "Bakudo #4 Hanawai" From my hand ropes of energy wrap the dummy as he awakens and i look towards Miza.

"This is a mod soul pill." I look at her and notice a great increase in overall healh. "And you seem better how do you feel?"

I look at her cautiously and carefully. I look at the many dummies and think. Hmm maybe later ill take these with me as protection for the house.

I bowed and looked at the dummy. I knew what mod souls were since my dad used them to train often. Also, my aunt began to train me using those. The only difference was that I could take them easily and this one looked tough.
I looked back at Ajiro. He seemed lost in thoughts.

- Hm, sr... What do you want me to do?

"Does he want me to fight that? He seems really tough...

I lost myself in thoughts while I was waiting for an answer.

- Fighting without killing him? How am I suppose to do that?

I look at the dummy. It really looked pretty tough. I started thinking a bit... As I was enable to find an answer, I took my notebook from my bag as started looking into my research. I had some things I wrote down about little spars I used to watch on the academy. Unfortunately, I could never participate on it because: 1 - My dad never allowed and 2 - my classmates were too scared to spar with me because they feared they would hurt me bad.

"So the best way of fighting the mod soul without killing it is... hand to hand combat."

I smile. "I will teach you to fight with your hands before your sword." I instruct the mod soul to remain still. "as they say you must learn to crawl before you can walk"

I take out an amplified version of the mod shes going to fight and place it in a new dummy. "Here i shall show you." i hand her my blade and sheath and take a stance as the soul awakens the dummy and growls.

He runs towards me and throws a punch towards my face. I shunpo to the right and use the momentum in a spin kick to the back of his head and he crashes into the ground. "Die." I aim for his head. "Bakudo #4 Byakurai." The energy builds in my hand and fires but burns out before hiting. "meh. go figure"

I nodded and held his sword. I watched carefully his moves as he fights the mod soul. Ajiro was really fast and took down it in a blink of an eye.

"Darn, he is really fast... How can he do that?"

I just blinked when I saw the mod soul down. I never saw someone taking something like that so fast. I wondered if I was able to do something like that, but without a sword I felt a little unprotected.

"Well, I could give it a try I guess..."

- Is it really okay for me to try, sir?

The bakudo fazes out and i frown. "Have i ever mentioned i Hate kido?" I smile jokingly.

The dummy sands slowly and he looks at me. "So miza," I smile. "Are you ready?"

I took a deep breath and smiled. At least he would help out if things go wrong, so I felt a little better by knowing it. I giggled when he said he hated kido. It just seemed funny for a shinigami to hate it.
I took a look at the dummy and I walked towards Ajiro, handing him his sword.

- Yes sir, I'm ready to give it a try.

I took a stand and tried to focus. I needed to beat that mod soul in order to prove myself I could do it.

He jumps and looks at you and lets his body fall. "Grrrrr.."*he throws a punch forward as he falls towards you.

I look at him and analyze his weak points in his stance and attack. Simple attacks slow movements outlandish to draw attention and seem more powerful. I look at you and smile thinking. You can do this i know u can
