Every Role-Player needs a set of techniques, that aid them in a battle. This brief guide will explain how our forum's technique system works.
With every new rank, you will receive new technique slots, which you can use to tag a technique with. You're only allowed to swap 1 technique with a new one per 50 RP post milestones. (so, 50 RP posts, 100, 350, etc.) If you'd like to swap a technique, post about it in your technique Sheet, and it will be looked into. Keep in mind that the new technique's exp counter will reset to 0.
As for PvP battles, you're only allowed to use a maximum of 10 techniques. Before every PvP fight, the Role-Players will need to post what Techniques they're going to use for that particular battle, in their first post of that PvP fight.
The Technique system works with 2 sub-systems:
- The Training ranks
- The General ranks
The Training Ranks:
There are 4 training ranks for every Technique out there. Explanations and requirements to obtain these ranks are listed below:
- Low level technique. You automatically obtain this training rank when you've picked a technique for an available technique slot. You're not proficient with a technique at this level, therefore won't do much damage.
Note: Shinigami need to use incantations to be able to fire spells in this level.- Mid level technique. After using a technique in 10 RP posts, your technique will level up to a Mid level technique. You grasped the basic concept of a technique, and deal a nice amount of damage.
Note: Shinigami can fire spells without using the incantation, but the damage will be severly reduced.- High level technique. After using a technique in 25 RP posts, your technique will level up to a High level technique. You've experimented a bit with a technique of this level, therefore do additional damage.
Note: Shinigami can fire spells without using the incantation, but the damage will be slightly reduced.- Perfect level technique. After using a technique in 50 RP posts, your technique will level up to a Perfect level technique. You've pushed this techniques' limits to the highest level, therefore dealing enormous damage.
Note: Shinigami can fire spells without using the incantation, damage will be applied normally.
The General Ranks:
The general ranks means the difficulty and strength of a technique. A simple Cero, or Bakudō #1, are easier to cast than a King's Cero, or Hadō #90 spell. There are 4 General ranks:
- Basic Techniques. These are the most common and easiest to perform, out of all General ranks.
- Advanced Techniques. The more complicated techniques in the RPG. The devastation of these techniques are more significant to the Basic techniques as well.
- Superior Techniques. The most complicated and Devastating of Non-Unique Techniques.
- Unique Techniques. These techniques are basically your Zanpakutōus/ressurections powers.
